All work and no play makes John a dull boy. None of us want that now , do we? Last week my family and I vacationed up in Michigan. It has become a yearly ritual in early August shortly before school starts for our children, to meet some friends up at a resort near Ludington, MI on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan.
We make sport of going to the beach during the day and relaxing at the resort in the evening. It is a hard life but someone must do it. In fact everyone should do it, at least once in awhile, it is very relaxing and helps me recharge my batteries before returning to a busy Fall schedule. Although, there are many great photo opportunities in such beautiful country that keep me behind a camera.
Here are just a few snaps from the trip. My wife Kim and I sitting on a sand dune above our favorite beach in Ludington. One of the many breathtaking sunsets at that same beach and finally two of my three children enjoying the view of the lake from a 400 foot high sand dune in the Sleeping Bear Dunes State Park that we visited in northern Michigan on a day trip. If you ever get a chance to visit Michigan, especially western and northern regions, you need to go!
Thank you to all my clients who had to wait an extra week for their images, My family and I truely appreciate it!
